summer is over...school has begun. oxford is all hustle and bustle. my trip to new york was fabulous. i took lots of interesting photographs and produced several drawings. i would love to get an intership at a gallery in the city next summer. the creative drive there is amazing. three of my drawings are in a exhibit at frame up on the square this week and next. check it out. thursday i was awarded third place for the student art show in gallary 301. the exhibit was judged by the head of the art department in memphis. i recently enrolled in a black and white photography class with brooke white, i have purchased a vivatar 3800n to photograph with. i will apply for my bfa soon enough and brooke is suggesting taking a look into the imaging arts program. i still have lots of questions i need answered about not only the imaging arts program but also the photography and graphic design emphasis. i'm so content with my major and hope to step it up a notch this next semester. i have high expectations for myself and my art and hope to gain much more knowledge this semester.

summer is here.
hope everyone is soaking up the sun because i know i am..
i leave for nyc the 2nd of August, ill be drawing drawing drawing up there..hopefully i'll get a real feel for the city. I plan to do a portrait of the Barnette Family late friday afternoon and just finished up some editoral work for FUNKY's BAR in oxford today. I am friends with the manager Bau Cherry who called me to come in. I'll have some more work up soon..tune in for more
